My husband and I spent over a week in this beautiful studio in Sarlat in April and May. When there you are right in the middle of all the action. Your windows face the main town square and you see, feel and hear the amazing vibrancy of this charming medieval French town. The studio is spacious and sunny. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to prepare a delicious meal with products purchased at the market right outside your door. My husband wants me to mention that newly remodeled bathroom is great! Very efficient and roomy by European standards. The location is fabulous for driving to many sites outside of Sarlat like Lascaux Caves and Chateau Milandes. Our host, Geraldine, was so helpful throughout our stay. We fell in love with Sarlat and would return in a heartbeat!
Geraldine is a very accommodating & helpful host who takes the time to promptly answer any concerns you may have. The studio is charming & surprisingly spacious, looking out onto the spectacular historic centre that bustles with activity well into the night. We could not get enough of the million dollar views & people watching from above. A lovely apartment in an amazing location that everyone should experience at least once when in Sarlat!
Tips for other travellers: A bustling location with tons of choice for restaurants & activities. Free parking within a short walk to apartment. Famous market literally at your doorstep.
Fantastic Location. Very Helpful owners. Lovely apartment overlooking main square. Ideal location to explore.
Tips for other travellers: Wander around Sarlat - beautiful! Ideal for exploring Dordogne Castles and Grottes
Much more spacious than it looks on the photos. Great bathroom and kitchen. Well equipped. We loved looking at the square with the market and street performers. Of course it can get noisy at night time during the summer weekends but still worth it :)
Tips for other travellers: Have breakfast at Maison Lissajoux bakery or Cafe Marcel just around the corner.
The location is amazing as is the building! I felt like Juliet with my Romeo. We enjoyed the gorgeous wood floor, the comfortable bed, the well-stocked kitchen, nice hot shower, and in-suite washing machine. What a bonus. There was room to spread out and work away from where we ate our meals. I can’t think of anything to improve. It was a perfect stay and Geraldine was the perfect host.
Tips for other travellers: We enjoyed traipsing around Sarlat and the wonderful Sarlat market (!) as well as easy day trips to Chateau de Beynac (our favorite!!!), the Marqueyssac gardens (so lovely and peaceful), Rocamadour (be prepared to climb!), and La Roque Gageac. Everything is so close and easy to get to. And the market is quite literally just outside the door.
Geraldine went out of her way to make our stay a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. She even made a special trip to assist us when we had difficulties with the wi-fi. The apartment was well set up with lots of facilities and tea, coffee, milk. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Tips for other travellers: Geraldine provided comprehensive instructions on where to park a car and how to access the apartment. Be warned that you do need to trundle your cases along a cobblestone street! The apartment is very central with plenty of restaurants and bars literally right outside the door. We were there for the Wednesday market which had lots of amazing food stalls. There was some noise early in the mornings, to be expected, but there was a container of earplugs provided. The location made up for it all though.

A wonderfully located apartment right in the centre of busy Sarlat overlooking the market square and all its street entertainment and restaurants. It was equipped with everything you could want to make your stay perfect and we would look forward to returning again. Be prepared for some occasional late night noise from the bar below, but is to be expected from such a fabulous location.
Tips for other travellers: Plenty of impressive street entertainment all day long and into the evenings with a huge variety of restaurants and places to eat and drink.
The apartment is very well situated in the heart of Sarlat and very well appointed it really has everything you would need for a holiday.
Tips for other travellers: This area has a lot of history in and around the town so there is always something to do.
Gorgeous apartment and ideally situated. The weather was so hot whilst we were there and it was great that we could just pop back "home" to rest or for refreshments during our busy days.
Tips for other travellers: Plenty of local good restaurants so spoilt for choice and had some lovely evening meals. I can't remember names apart from Hotel Dieu which was very nice and would recommend
Great location, lovely studio. It was a very busy time in Sarlat when we visited so there was lots happening in and around the mediaeval town.
Tips for other travellers: No lift but manageable as first floor. The Viet Thai restaurant up the street was great. We bought a few things from the local store and cooked our own breakfast.
